No. 1…

… is from a previous post of mine Simple Scarves. I am very pleased with this finished ruffle scarf. So much so that I plan to buy more yarn and make another, in black, grays and whites. This project is a quick and very rewarding knit!!!

No. 2…

…is crocheted and I just made it up as I went along.

The yarn I used was Sensations Rainbow Classic Pattern – color # 1897 and size J (6.0mm) crochet hook.

Super easy pattern…

Create a crochet chain to your scarf’s desired length. Then turn and crochet into the back loop of each stitch.

Then the pattern is just…

  • 4 rows of single crochet
  • 1 row of double crochet

Once you have your desired ‘even’ width finish with a single crochet stitch around it’s perimeter.

I am still learning the basics in crochet and my edges are still quite uneven. I struggle with figuring out which is the last stitch to enter at the end of the row. When my No.1 Fan comes over to visit again we must take more classes. We are crochet buddies you know :)

TTFN!
